Hyper App Studios ("we", "us", "our") operates Cantio, a mobile app that creates personalized songs. This Privacy Policy explains what information Cantio collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. By using Cantio, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information you provide to us

To generate a song, you give Cantio:

• The recipient's name and your relationship to them (e.g. father, partner, friend)
• The occasion (e.g. birthday, anniversary, Father's Day)
• Your preferred language and vocal style for the song
• An optional personal memory, story, or note you'd like the song to reflect

Cantio does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, or physical address to use the app.

2. How this information is used

The details above are sent to third-party AI providers solely to generate your song:

• writes the song lyrics based on the details you provide.
• turns the lyrics and style into the finished audio track.

We don't use this information for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Cantio offers a subscription (Cantio Plus) and one-time song-credit packs. Payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play — Cantio never sees or stores your payment card details. Purchase and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, our in-app purchase platform, using a random identifier generated on your device (not your name or email). This identifier lets Cantio recognize your purchases if you restore them or reinstall the app.

4. What's stored, and where

• Your generated songs, lyrics, and the details you entered are stored locally on your device and are not stored on our own servers. Songs are automatically removed from your device's local storage 14 days after creation (you can download or share a song before then to keep a personal copy).
• Your purchase history and remaining song credits are stored by RevenueCat, tied to the random device identifier described above.
• Requests to generate lyrics and music pass through our workflow automation infrastructure on their way to Anthropic and Suno; this infrastructure does not retain your data beyond what's needed to process the request.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only with the service providers named in this policy (Anthropic, Suno, RevenueCat, Apple, Google), and only as needed to provide the features you use. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

6. Children's privacy

Cantio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your choices

• The personal memory/story field is optional — you can generate a song without it.
• You can delete a song at any time from within the app, which removes it from your device.
• To request deletion of any data associated with your device identifier (e.g. purchase history), contact us at the email below.

8. Security

We rely on the security practices of Apple, Google, Anthropic, Suno, and RevenueCat to protect data in transit and at rest on their platforms. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. International data transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. By using Cantio, you consent to this transfer, storage, and processing.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
